Nissan’s latest plug-in hybrid, the N6, has launched in China with an aggressive price point starting at roughly $13,000 USD, signaling the company’s intent to compete fiercely in the rapidly expanding hybrid vehicle segment. The launch, which occurred December 1, 2025, is not just a regional move; Nissan intends to roll out the N6 to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and select Latin American markets. Powered by a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine paired with an electric motor and a 21.1 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery, the N6 offers a CLTC-rated pure electric range of up to 180 km (112 miles). The interior features a modern cabin layout with a floating central touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster.
