It drops later this year. The hardtop version already exists, and now we get the roofless one. Expect to pay roughly $600,00.
Does it look different? Yes. The old “cheese grater” side strakes? Gone. You won’t see them here. Instead there is a massive vertical air intake. It feeds the mid-mounted V-8. That engine looks angry.
Power figures are ridiculous.
1036 horsepower.
It isn’t just gas doing the heavy lifting. Three electric motors join the twin-turbo 4.0L V-8. The engine itself makes 819 hp, but the hybrid system pushes the total way up. It feels excessive. Is that even legal? Probably not on any normal road.
Performance estimates suggest a 2.0 second 0-60 mph sprint. The quarter mile runs around 9.4 seconds.
Numbers like that stop being stats. They become physics experiments. You don’t drive them. You survive them.
